Ok..since the events of April, I've truely formed into who i really am. I'm not the kid who lied about everything he was just to please everyone else around him who seemed superior. I personaly would rather be a truthful unperfect specimen, than a liar who puts on a goody-goody facade to please everyone and live up to certain standards.
I've lied so much to others and myself about what I really am (and nobody freak out, Im not like a murderer or anything) lol. I just felt like if I claimed to do certain things, or say certain things that I would be looked down upon and be pushed into that lower social chain that I was so afraid to be part of. But at this point...its the people "down there" that are the most honest in this world.
Religion has been an uphill battle for me since "there" and thats not how it goes. But I don't regret those events, because that's what made me who I really am. And I really don't care who knows it. Whoever is offended by this, needs to just deal with their ownselves.
A lot of my friends have pushed me away, and its rediculous. When we talk its like we've not spoken in ten years, or maybe that they feel convicted for talking to me? What the crap? LoL Its rediculous. Maybe they need to look in the mirror every once in a while...unless the halo they drew above their head blocks out everything else.
Reading all these past entries, makes me sick. I've had this since 9th grade and I just get so upset reading. "Was I really that naive?" kind of reaction. I've moved on. I'm almost 20 and my life has been put into such a better perspective once I started living for the better.
Therefore...I'm not the superman I claimed to be...not even the "super" kev...as it appears in my journal name. But I'm sure as HELL not quitting tryin to be the best human being I possibly can be, but Im also not going to claim to be something I'm not.
This journal is dead...null and void...the man has changed, the outlook on life has changed...therefore I am now..

Tonight was one of the best nights I've had in a looooong time. I decided not to let school work ruin my weekend.
Me, Amber, Shane, Bill, and Sonya went to the Crazy Tomato had a good dinner. Bill had to go home afterwards, but then the rest of us were going to go see "Saw II" but it was sold out. So we're gonna go tomorrow (Sunday). Shane went to Bill's while Amber, Sonya, and I went bowling. HECK YEAH! We were there until like 2:30 am. LoL Got some awesome pictures like Amber's "scoring jump" my "gangsta pose" and Sonya's "vogue." LoL Amber totally kicked our butt's on the last game, she became my hero. Haha
Afterwards, we went to the Waffle House...or the "Wa-Ho" as it has been dubbed by us. Had some good food...met drunk people...saw Latin Pimps...lol all in the norm, let me tell ya.
Even though fun was all around, there's always something unwelcome that just lingers...oh well!

Well, I'm just being a regular update whore here lately. LoL
Tonight was fun! We took the kids around trick-or-treating. I dressed up as Superman, of course. My brother made a costume based off an 80's tv show called "The Greatest American Hero." Really funny show.

Well today was a good day. I carved Pumpkins with my sister, and I'll post a pic of them at the end.
Tonight, I watched "House of Wax". It was your typical teen-slasher flick, but the highlight of the movie was seeing Paris Hilton get the ax....lol. Sorry, it was my favorite part. She drives me nuts!
Tonight's Charmed episode was good....lol Ok yeah Im at a loss for words tonight.
That's pretty much about all I did....

Today has been good. I went and rented 4 movies to get into the Halloween spirit. =P I got Land of the Dead, House of Wax, Bewitched, and Unleashed. Ok, I know the last one isnt fitting for Halloween...but hey, it works. I watched Land of the Dead...ok yeah its another typical Zombie movie. Everyone told me it was worse than Dawn of the Dead, but I disagree. At least this one actually had a plot!
I finally got to watch Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children...subtitled yes, but it was still fantastic! Any fan of the original FF VII game will love this movie sequal. I can't wait for the english one.
Monday is Halloween and I can't wait. I love this time of year. I hope everyone has a fun, but safe Halloween. I officially hate all my friends here in BSG...lol j/k nobody gets in touch anymore, including myself. I guess I have to do all the contacting from now on!!! =P
As for school, its going well! The opera is coming along great, and so are my other classes. I'm very content. I think I'm gonna stick out my years at ETSU. I'm gonna regret coming home if I ever do. I wouldn't be as happy I don't think. Before, I was coming home on a spur of the moment kind of decision, never really thought it out. =)

Well this week has been good week so far for the most part. Last night I had to perform an exorcism on Amber's laptop. LoL That thing was evil but I won. Muhahaha.
Tonight is the Ludacris concert at the mini-dome, but I'm not goin. His songs annoy me. VERRY few rap artists I can deal with. I like Nelly...and if the Black Eyed Peas count -- I've gotten into them bad lately. LoL Bought their latest cd today actually.
Tomorrow's friday, Woohoo! I wish we didn't have studio class on fridays. Its at 4! So I have to wait to go home until like 5 when I normally leave around 12! Oh well...

Well this weekend has been alright. I stayed at ETSU in case we had an opera rehearsal...which we didn't....*blank face* oh well!
Yesterday, I swear Spiderman 2 came on 3-4 times. HBO is so lame!
Me, Shane, and Amber went to Ruby Tuesdays for lunch today, it was really good! Got some chicken paramsan pasta stuff...I'm such a pasta whore, its insane. LoL
Life in itself is going great! Doing really well in school, have great friends, and great family. Praise Jesus! I'm excited about Halloween! I'm totally skippin school that Monday to stay home! I've only got 2 classes, no biggie.I have a superman outfit to match my little nephews, so its gonna be cute. LoL Mostly cause of me of course...lol jk
The opera is a little over a month away, and its going great! We all have it memorized for the most part. Thats great! Last year, we barely had it memorized the night before the performance. LoL
Remember: December 2nd and 3rd is the opera, but Im not sure which night I'm playing Melchior, so just keep that weekend free and come on my night! =P
Oh and for the record...the girl I mentioned a few entries back, is NOT a relationship. LoL We didn't even go out or anything so nobody think I'm with somebody. lol

Lit was hilarious as usual, and im glad that essay was due today so I can get it off my mind until the next one rolls around. In Psych, my test was SOOOO easy. Praise Jesus for the help, shew, I tell you what, Hes awesome! I praise Him for everyday that his patience spreads out for me. I know ive not been the best here lately but Im making a change right now before it gets to far.
Opera was swell too. Didn't have to sing a whole lot. Was mostly Sam today. Tomorrow is friday. W00t!

Wow! This week has flown by. I mean, gosh tomorrow is Friday! W00t! Man, my weekend's gonna suck, cause I have an essay due Monday so I'm gonna try and write as much as I can tonight, or at least get it set up. That way my weekend won't be so busy. Saturday is my nephew Nick's birthday party at Mr. Ghatti's.
Man, next Friday starts fall break, I cant wait! we get Friday - Tuesday off! Come back the following Wed.
One thing that sucks, the week we come back is when the opera gets off the book...meaning...MEMORIZED! I'm gonna die. My voice teacher, who is also the opera teacher, gave me a piece from the MESSIAH!! Oh crap...lol and its like tenor stuff. She is determined im a tenor, so shes testing me on it. LoL I've alwasy sang baritone/bass. I agree, I can hit pretty high notes, but I just have no control tactics over that range yet. Gotta work on that. All my choir friends in high school will read this and be like "NOO!! NOT MY BASS MAN!" Sorry guys...I'm slowly becoming a tenor...
Last night, I watched this movie on HBO called "King of the Jungle" where John Leguizamo plays a mentally challenged boy. I swear, I cried like crazy. I don't know why, but any movie or show with a mentally challenged person in it, gets to me so bad. Especially if they act very well. I watched an episode of a show once and a girl gets visitied by her older brother who is mentally challenged. The tears just rolled during parts of that. Very dramatic stuff! So if you ever want to see my cry like a baby, let's watch "The Passion..." or any movie with mental people. Yeah, I admit it, I cry! I don't care. =P
Anywho, I digress. I'm gonna head out of here and work on my essay. (yeah right) and watch Smallville at 8. Later. |
